When your planned functions have ended, your attendees can choose from a wide menu of
Lake Placid's unique activities.

Sitting in the midst of the largest park in the lower 48, Lake Placid offers a truly unique environment in which to recreate when your meetings have ended for the day. Main Street, Lake Placid sits at the edge of beautiful Mirror Lake, a motor-boat-free body of water with spectacular views of the Adirondack High Peaks. A 2.7 mile road with a sidewalk encircles the lake, making it a popular walking and jogging loop for both locals and visitors alike, is a great way to clear your head after a long day, or perfect as a morning wake-up before that big meeting. Many of our large and small lodging properties are within easy walking distance of many unique and varied shops and cafes, as well as the Mirror Lake walkway. One can even walk to the traihead of the most popular short hikes right in the village, Cobble Mountain. Within a very short drive are many activities to suit just about anyone. Enjoy a walk around Mirror Lake or paddle a canoe, hike an Adirondack trail, sample a micro brew, have a great dinner with friends and colleagues, go fly fishing, play 54 holes, sit on a dock, watch a sunset, have a spa treatment, buy Adirondack hand-crafted art, take a scenic flight, sleigh ride, toboggan or dog sled ride, cycle the Ironman route, enjoy a wine tasting, skate on an Olympic Rink or pond, downhill or cross country ski, tour the great Adirondack Camps, take a boat ride.... and the list goes on and on.
