Technologically advanced and environmentally sound, the Conference
Center at Lake Placid exists in perfect harmony with its natural
landscape.
The Center offers 90,000 square feet of meeting and
exhibition space, including two 20,000 square foot, column-free exhibit areas and
many smaller, customizable venues. Each room is furnished with enhanced
computer, lighting, electric and projection capabilities.
This
premier facility is equipped with flexible convention and meeting space,
unique multi-use entertainment and athletic facilities, a full service
production kitchen and uncompromising attention to detail. The
Conference Center at Lake Placid’s naturally lit space and views of its
Adirondack surroundings will stimulate creativity, dynamic meetings,
professional growth and encourage competitive play.
The
Conference Center at Lake Placid is a green building, constructed with
its Adirondack setting, and the health and comfort of our guests in
mind. Construction techniques adhere to the criteria set forth by LEED
(the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Consortium) and
incorporate optimized energy performance, renewable, recycled materials
and natural daylight. Operating with ongoing environmentally sound
practices, the center anticipates GOLD LEED certification upon completion.
